MIami-based Shraybman Law has merged with the Boston-based Intellectual Property firm to expand its services to creatives, startups, and small businesses and grow its clientele
MIAMI—JUNE 1, 2023—Shraybman Law, PLLC, founded by Jessica Shraybman in 2017, has acquired Boston-based IP firm Chubb IP Law, founded by Diane M. Chubb Esq. in 2005. The move furthers Shraybman Law’s rapid growth over the past six years and strengthens its intellectual property practice for its diverse portfolio of clientele, which ranges from artists and other creative entrepreneurs to tech companies and small businesses. The acquisition also expands Shraybman Law’s licensure and geographic scope to now include the states of Florida, Massachusetts, and California. Additionally, the acquisition will provide the Chubb Law portfolio of clients with access to expanded legal services under the Shraybman Law umbrella, such as general counsel and business strategizing, contract drafting and negotiation, dispute resolution, and others.
“We are thrilled for what this acquisition means for our current and future clients at Shraybman Law,” said Shraybman. “Diane and her team have been longtime partners of ours, and after many years of close collaboration, an acquisition became a natural next step. This move will benefit both the growth of our firm as we go from a Florida-based firm to a firm with a national footprint, and also helps achieve Chubb Law’s goals for expansion and supports its existing portfolio of business.”
“Joining Shraybman Law was a strategic decision for us as a firm, including my team members, as well as our clients,” said Chubb. “Through this merger, we gain the infrastructure and resources to offer a more holistic approach to servicing our clients throughout the US - all while my team and I remain based in New England. I am proud to have served our clients with high standards of excellence for the past 18 years, and these standards are shared with Shraybman Law. We will continue to offer the very best in legal services to our clients now and in the future.”
Chubb will join Shraybman law as its managing partner of trademarks and copyrights, and will focus on growing the firm’s IP practice.
