Jessica Shraybman
Founder and Managing Partner, Corporate practice
Ms. Shraybman leverages her diverse background with an in-depth understanding of clients’ needs to help businesses grow and succeed wisely. She works closely with entrepreneurs, executives, and other stakeholders to develop, execute, and monitor implementation of strategies. She often handles clients’ complex business transactions from start to finish, and has personally overseen a multitude of corporate formations and partnership relationships, financings, and acquisitions.
In addition to general corporate counsel, Ms. Shraybman manages clients’ Intellectual Property portfolios. She regularly developes and executes projects and programs within her clients’ organizations to ensure protection and proper handling of confidential and sensitive information. She secures branding and inventions through trademarks and patents on an almost daily basis. She also advises on and handles relationship formation where a client’s intellectual property is involved, often drafting and negotiating strategic alliances and license agreements. Ms. Shraybman is a member of the Florida Bar’s Intellectual Property Subcommittee, serves as a member of the Intellectual Property Board Certification task force, and is currently preparing to sit for the Florida Bar Intellectual Property Board Certification exam.
Outside the office, Ms. Shraybman is committed to giving back to and supporting the Miami community through a number of volunteer and professional positions. She is a board member of several local non-profit organizations, including the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden’s young professionals board, the Fairchild Palms, which supports the Garden’s environmental education programming. In 2018, she was honored by the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division as a Pro Bono Rockstar.
Ms. Shraybman graduated with honors from the University of Miami (BA, Philosophy and Entrepreneurship) and in the top 20% of her class from Florida International College of Law (JD). She was the first in her family born in the United States and is a native Russian speaker. She is admitted to practice in the State of Florida.
